Edito 22nd Espace Anjou Tennis Open - Florence DABIN

President of the Department of Maine et Loire

It is always with great pride that we welcome sports competitions to Maine-et-Loire.

international in scope. They contribute to the influence of our territory and reinforce its sporting identity.
After an edition behind closed doors, the Central Court of La Baumette finds this year the young hopes of tennis

worldwide for the 22nd edition of the Open Galerie Espace Anjou. A highlight of men's tennis,

during which we will be keen to support young Angers and world athletes.
Our commitment alongside them for this competition reflects a strong desire to promote high-level sport

level and to promote the young talents of tomorrow!
Their performances will captivate spectators and reinforce the place of this tournament in the world sports calendars.
I would like to thank all those involved in this event, and in particular the Maine-et-Loire departmental tennis committee and Angers Tennis Club. Our partnership brings sport to life in Maine-et-Loire, labeled Land of Games and Excellence for the Paris 2024 Games.
Good tournament to all!

Edito Espace Anjou Tennis Open - Charles DIERS

Sports Assistant - City of ANGERS

Once again, Angers is happy to host this magnificent Future Tournament,

organized by Angers Tennis Club and the Departmental Tennis Committee 49.

For this 22nd edition of the Open Galerie Espace Anjou, the public will finally be back

at Court Central la Baumette, because even if the organizers had managed to maintain

a sporting continuity with a 2021 edition behind closed doors, the young hopefuls of Tennis and all the Angevin public will undoubtedly be impatient to finally relive moments of sporting emotions around the Angevin clay court.

It is therefore with great satisfaction that we will once again be able to attend this new edition, which I hope will reveal or confirm new talents.

Angers is always proud and happy to be able to support sports associations in the organization of national and international events. With the recent arrival on our territory of the Open P2i Arena Loire Angers, it is now the insurance and the opportunity to see and regularly attend major women's and men's tennis matches. Tennis is a sport that counts in Angers.

Excellent tournament for players and volunteers.

Editorial Christelle MORANCAIS

President of the Pays de la Loire Region

It is with great pleasure that Pays de la Loire welcomes the 22nd edition of the International Tennis Tournament

d'Angers which takes place from April 18 to 26, 2022.

The Region is very happy to support this tournament which over the years has met with a large audience on

Angevin clay. This tennis open contributes to revealing the talents of tomorrow and testifies to the vitality of

our region as a land of sport thanks to the quality of its clubs throughout the Loire region.

It illustrates the regional commitment to sporting excellence based on a particularly dense and dynamic fabric of local clubs.

I warmly thank the organizers and all the volunteers who bring this event to life with friendliness and professionalism.

I wish everyone a great competition. Long live tennis!
